A new instrumental track

Hi all. I've been writing songs since 1990 but have not done many recently. This is an guitar instrumental I started last week. You can listen to its initial layout here. http://www.b3ta.cr3ation.co.uk/data/mp3/instrumental.mp3
I haven't really thought what else to do with it yet, except write a kind of middle 8. What do you think?

I like it.. the recording's quite noisy though. Is that a reverb / delay effect as well?

A lead Spanish guitar on top of that would be pretty sweet.

(and maybe a mournful vocal about lost dwarves)

I agree with Rapitinui - Spanish guitar would sound great over the top.

Nice one - I might have a play around with that sometime, I really like the chord progression.

It is noisy. I don't have a great setup for recording acoustic guitars. It has a delay on to fill it out a bit, but this is just like a demo anyway. Lost dwarves is a good idea. I was going down the road of tortured carrots, but that sounds better.
Cheers Gronkpan. The progression is a little Pixies-esque, changing between 4/4 and 3/4.

Aftr listening to it again, it now reminds me of the Smiths! Maybe I'll do a new version with drums, too. I don't see how a Spanish guitar would work, to be honest!
